I am a clinical psychologist with over 25 years’ experience. Having initially specialised in working with children as well as with psychopathology in adults, adolescents and children, I then specialised in psycho-legal work. My approach is always to act in the children’s best interests and to assist them to have their opinions heard in an appropriate manner, and to try and assist the family to achieve the best possible outcome for everyone concerned.

Apart from working therapeutically with children, adolescents and adults, I have extensive experience in conducting assessments for legal purposes in the areas of divorce and family related matters, sexual abuse, as well as criminal matters. For a number of years I also assisted at the Family Advocates Office in investigations.

Mediation of family related issues and parenting plans has also become a large part of my practice. As a psychologist I am able to consult with the children, when relevant, and obtain their views.

Case Management or Parent Facilitation is another service that I provide. Mediation of issues is a large part of case management and it is evident that this helps parents to avoid ongoing litigation.
